Elton John: Honky Chateau UK Pressing Gatefold Vinyl Album DJM

Honky Château is Elton John's fifth studio album, released in 1972 on DJM. It was recorded at the Château d'Hérouville in France (credited on the sleeve as Strawberry Studios), which is where the title comes from, and it was his first album to reach number one in the US.

This is the one with Rocket Man and Honky Cat, and the first album with Davey Johnstone joining Dee Murray and Nigel Olsson as the full band. Produced by Gus Dudgeon, all songs by Elton John and Bernie Taupin.
