The album became Motörhead’s only UK No. 1 album. Despite the title, it was not recorded at Hammersmith Odeon. Most of the performances came from shows at Leeds University and Newcastle City Hall in March 1981. “Iron Horse / Born to Lose” came from an earlier 1980 performance. The original UK issue was supplied with a photo-montage inner sleeve.
