Paul Weller: Stanley Road Vinyl Album

Stanley Road is Paul Weller’s third solo studio album, originally released in 1995. It became one of his most successful records, reaching No. 1 in the UK Albums Chart and helping establish his mature solo sound, combining British rock, soul, folk, and elements of psychedelia.

The title refers to Stanley Road in Woking, where Weller grew up. The cover artwork was designed by Peter Blake, whose collage style is associated with several major British album covers. Notable guests include Noel Gallagher, who plays guitar on “I Walk on Gilded Splinters,” and Steve Winwood, who contributes to the album.
